Solar Metro is a new startup in the field of advanced technology transportation services that intends to provide a cost effective petroleum-free transportation solution to Bay Area commuters. The business plan identifies two markets in which we believe that technological advances will synergistically converge with rising oil prices creating an outstanding business opportunity. These markets are advanced electric vehicles for commuters combined with home installed roof-top mounted photovoltaic solar energy systems. In summary, the electric vehicles will be recharged after work by solar energy deposited into the grid during the day at peak prices and withdrawn at night at off peak rates. Our customers will enjoy a safe, reliable, high performance electric car with a range of 200 miles that is cost free fuel-wise and emits zero emissions. In addition home electric bills will be eliminated. Our overall goal is to grow and fine tune a profitable local enterprise while developing a business model that may be applied throughout the state, the nation or worldwide. The market for these convergent services in California is immense. Our vision is that the venture will ultimately result in a publicly traded corporation. Our initial target market is professionals that commute from Santa Cruz to Silicon Valley. In essence these commuters are trapped between rising gasoline prices versus the need for personal transport freedom. This is especially true for high tech workers who routinely spend long hours and engage in irregular and prolonged work schedules. This makes mass transit and car pools unattractive or unacceptable. For this and other reasons, the single occupant vehicle is the most common form of transportation for a Santa Cruz commuter accounting for 78% of all traffic in the county.[i]--a testimony to the commuter’s fundamental need for freedom to choose when and where he or she needs to be to make money. Solar Metro, Inc. is dedicated to making that commute more secure, less costly, and much less destructive to the environment. Our slogan is “Running on Sunshine.” TM Sample Two Solar-Powered EmergencyTransportation and Energy

Seacliff Drive, Aptos, CA 95003 Business person to be contacted; Dr. Ron S. Nolan, (831) 688-3158 None of the data in this proposal is proprietary, however proprietary information and technologies may be developed by the proposed project. Signature of Authorized Representative. Ron S. Nolan Abstract SPETES is unique in that it provides an integrated transportation and energy delivery system capable of functioning without fossil fuels or reliance upon the electrical grid. The concept is based upon the capture of solar energy with a photovoltaic array. The power is stored on-site in an energy bank composed of high performance battery modules. The freshly charged modules may readily be transferred to the electric vehicles to replace spent battery packs. In addition to providing a wide variety of emergency transportation services, the vehicles will be capable of delivering a mobile energy trailer of charged modules to locations where electricity is needed for vital medical and communication services. Solar Metro, a newly formed California small business, has assembled a talented team of engineers, computer scientists, and advisors that will participate in the SPETES project. The end products will consist of prototypes for the energy bank and a mobile energy delivery system that will be documented by a printed report of findings, DVD and guide, website, and a series of on-site lectures and workshops that will be made available to emergency planners and managers. CONFIDENTIAL Ron S. Nolan, Ph.D. 222 Santa Cruz Avenue, No. 11 Aptos, CA 95003 (831) 688-3158 nolan@farsun.comOverview The goal is to build a new business that will produce and market premium quality bottled drinking water derived from Monterey Bay. The product water will be routinely acquired offshore using one or more vessels with reverse osmosis microfiltration systems, then transported to Moss Landing Harbor and off loaded to tank trucks and conveyed less than a 1/4 mile to a bottling facility to be constructed adjacent to the harbor. The resulting product, tentatively to be marketed as Photon Blue TM, will appeal to health conscious consumers who want bottled water that is free of pharmaceuticals, pesticides and herbicides with a salt content of nearly 0%. Photon Blue TM is used throughout this document as a placeholder. Several other names are also being in considered. It is anticipated that there will be three phases to the project. Phase I consists of researching and developing the business plan and raising funds. Phase II which will build and operate the pilot plant. Phase III will expand production unit volume and diversify the product line. Ron S. Nolan, Ph.D. 222 Santa Avenue, No. 11 Aptos, CA 95003 (831) 688-3158
